Acquisition checklist

  • Updated title deed and clear certificates (federal, state, labor).
  • Property tax and condo fees current; verify predecessor's delinquency.
  • Independent market appraisal.
  • ITBI, registration, and financing costs in the total calculation.
  • For shares: shareholders' agreement, hidden debts, and pending earn-outs.
